What Is Self Respect?

Only you can set your expectations or limitations in life, so make sure you reach for the very best in everything that you do because you are worth it and so much more! You have been given an ability to see yourself as the limitless wonder that you are.

Self-respect is a powerful word, but its true meaning is often misunderstood. If you have not put much thought into it, you may not realize how powerful it is, and the impact it can have on your life.

The degree of self-respect which you have determines how far you will go in life, how much you will do and have, and how much you will accomplish. Your self-respect is the one fundamental aspect of your character which helps you to believe in yourself. Your self-respect lets you know that you deserve the very best in every aspect of life, and that you can meet and exceed your own expectations.

If you do not understand the relationship, it really is quite simple. When you respect yourself, you are telling yourself that you are a person of value. You are saying that your life has value. When you give yourself this insight on a consistent, ongoing basis, you are opening up a world of possibilities. Not only will you find that you can reach your highest potential, but that you have more potential than you were even aware of before. You will know that trying is the first step to success.

The most important secret about self-respect is that it is not a secret at all. All you really need to know is that when you think well of yourself you will see how easy it is to respect yourself as a human being with a net worth and value. There is simply no better way to approach yourself as knowing your worth and value in your life and in the world.

One wonderful result of this is that your self-respect will be evident to others. All of the individuals in your life will see you as a person of good, strong character. Another result will come in the way you meet the challenges and the opportunities in front of you. Your self-respect will lead you to do the right thing, to seek positive solutions, and to always hold yourself in high regard. You will know that you have a very good reason to be proud of yourself, because the power of self-respect has taught you that you do indeed deserve the very best.

5 Positive Thinking Secrets Unlocked

Positive thinking people bring joy and happiness to lots of people. They typically have a healthy self esteem and perspective on life. Positive thinking people are self esteem builders and they work hard to find the best in other people. This makes them feel better about themselves when they are able to make others feel more confident too.

So exactly how do positive thinking people see the world in such a positive way? Although you may believe there is some magical formula, it’s actually quite simple. They learn from every experience in life and see every situation as an opportunity to become more knowledgeable and better informed. They know they are not perfect and they do not put unnecessary pressure on themselves to be perfect. Rather, they expect mistakes to happen, but they view them as positive experiences to learn something new and different.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do”. Positive thinking people view the world through this lens. They are not afraid of what’s around the corner and they are not afraid to take chances because they have the self confidence to take risks. They gain confidence with every difficult outcome.

Today’s world of economic turmoil, war, and strife can be taxing on anyone. The evening news broadcasts are filled with negative information and consequences of the day’s activities. Negative information and events can trigger negative emotions and feelings in almost everyone. But it’s important to put it all in perspective and focus on positive thinking habits that will serve as self esteem builders for you. Confidence development starts with positive thinking.

Secrets for Positive Thinking 1. Remove negative thoughts with positive ones. If someone says “you can’t do that”, then ask yourself “How can I do that”? Turn negative comments and situations into opportunities. Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations and practice them daily. Push negative thoughts aside when they invade your mind and replace them with positive thoughts. 2. Avoid negative people. Being around negative people can create negative thoughts for you too. Once those people see how positive thinking is changing your life, they may decide to become positive thinkers too. You can positively influence them by making this move to step outside the circle of negative thinkers. 3. Define your values. Once you decide what is important to you in life, it will be hard to think negatively. Keeping your values firmly planted in front of you gives you the motivation and inspiration to go forward confidently. Your values dictate how you live, what you say, and how you react to situations. Positive values lead to positive thinking. 4. Live today. Don’t spend time worrying about yesterday or last month or last year. Live in the present and stop obsessing about things that have gone wrong in the past. When you focus on living today, the quality of your life is better and you are happier. Focus on today and what you can do going forward. The past is gone and you cannot change it. The present is here and you can live it. 5. Don’t worry about the future. Just like forgetting the past, don’t obsess about the future either. More than 95% of things people worry about never happen! As Benjamin Franklin advised, “Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight”. Positive thinking people live in the sunlight and you can too.

Positive thinking and healthy self esteem go hand in hand. It’s important to focus on the positive aspects of life and deploy self esteem builders for greater confidence development. Practice daily affirmations to keep you on track and stay true to your values and soon you will be a positive thinking individual too.

How Your Beliefs About Money Teach Your Children

Most people inherit their beliefs and values from their parents. So along with Mum’s eyes and perhaps unfortunately Dad’s nose, we become conditioned by their set of rules, which in turn came from their previous generation. This may work very well if your surname is Rothschild or Getty but for most of us we may be carrying around a set of rules and beliefs which no longer serve us.

For example, if your parents or grandparents experienced major economic events such as the Great Depression or the austere years during and after WWII then these environmental factors will have made a lasting impression. There may be “positive” values such as thrift, saving and security or “disempowering” beliefs around scarcity, fear and an aversion to risk. What constitutes positive or negative is of course down to your beliefs.

The question is, are these deep routed beliefs helping or hindering you today and what messages are you passing on to the next generation and teaching your children about money?

In the Industrial Age the perceived wisdom was to study hard, get a good job and then try and hang on to it until the gold watch. People spoke freely of the ‘job for life’ and concepts such as downsizing or outsourcing were relatively unknown. The underlying beliefs were one of scarcity and lack. A safety first approach which enabled many to save for their retirements with the comfort of a social security safety net.

In the Information Age where the world has become in many ways smaller and flatter, both the job security and the safety net are disappearing. In preparing the next generation and teaching your children about money it is important to consider the skills, attitudes and beliefs that will be necessary to succeed.

Let’s consider an example of two children from the same neighbourhood, whose parents are of a similar age and enjoy similar incomes and lifestyles. In the Smith’s household finances are discussed in hushed tones and never in front of the children. They witness arguments over credit cards and the stress of unpaid bills. If the child asks for things they are met with replies of “money doesn’t grow on trees” or “we just can’t afford it”.

Compare with the Jones household, here money is discussed more openly, with budgets set and adhered to. Bills are paid on time and a little is saved every month. When the child asks for treats they are encouraged to pay for it themselves out of an allowance or to consider whether having ‘this ‘is better than ‘that’. They learn to understand the value of things as well as the price. They may be given the opportunity to work around the house or to explore other ways of earning money.

In this simple scenario it is clear which child has the better chance of growing up with empowering beliefs about money.

Children unquestionably pick up many of their values from their parents, either through conscious actions or unconscious awareness. Through a combination of financial education and creating an environment of opportunity, your children will be better equipped for financial success.

Daniel Britton is an interational author, speaker and wealth coach. He has produced a series of books which help you teach your children about money. Please visit The Financial Fairy Tales for more information

Getting Smarter Is About Working Out Your Mind

We're growing over-reliant on science and technology . Don't get me wrong, those are great things in their own right, but all the while I cannot help but feeling we're losing perspective. People nowadays seem to believe that anything can be achieved with some kind of magic pill or miraculous new technological development. Even when it comes to brain improvement, I've heard too many people say how they believe technology and science will someday allow our brains to get much stronger and faster. Personally, I don't think there's no need to become some kind of cyborg in order to achieve goals such as improving concentration and enhancing memory.

Our brain is a highly complex and sophisticated tool, that's granted. But all the while, it's not unlike our other muscles in the sense that it can be strengthened with the right exercises. So, if you've been wishing that modern scientists would come up with some kind of technology or chemical compound that will make you smarter... I should say there's really no reason for waiting. There are several tried and true exercises aimed at brain improvement that you can start using right now to increase your mental skills and aptitudes. You shouldn't hope for some kind of overnight miracle, but if you follow the right procedures, you can expect significant results in just a couple of weeks. With dedication and determination, you can expect to attain highly improved mental prowess in over one year.

If you think that some people are naturally smarter, just think again. The thing that sets apart people with higher IQ's and superior mental skills can be summed in two word: mental exercising. Those people are naturally inclined to exercise their mind from an early age, and oftentimes they'll engage the kind of exercises that lead to brain improvement without even realizing what they're doing! Well, the good news is that you can now try using similar procedures that have been proven to work.

Low Self Esteem - How To Overcome It

Wouldn't it feel great to be one of those people that people noticed? You would be the person to stand out from the background. Just think what a helpful social skill you'd possess. You would stand out during any job interview, be remembered, you'd also make an impression on a blind date, you'd be the person getting the phone call. Maybe that's not how it happens to you at the moment, are you one way or another permanently in the background? Do less well qualified or less knowledgeable people seem to be getting the opportunities? It's likely that you are merely not making an impression on the appropriate people and odds are that it's because you are not beating low self confidence and being too shy in your attitude.

I'm not suggesting that you develop into a bighead but taking cover behind lack of confidence will mean you lose out on so much. Modesty is a respectable quality to possess but as soon as lack of confidence is inhibiting your social skills, you know you've got to transform.

Life is designed for living and living the finest life you can. Have you forever been shy? Would you say you are a genuinely shy person? Does lack of confidence run in your family? The great news is that there is no genetic basis why you are shy and you can transform it. We possess the skill to transform and be who we aspire to be. There are two significant things we need to resolve: the first is beating low self confidence and leaving the shy person behind; and the other is to stop labelling yourself as a shy person - no one is biologically shy - you've educated yourself to be shy either consciously or involuntarily. The great news is you possess the skill to transform.

If you tell yourself something lots of times each day, you are training your brain to be whatever you tell it to be eg "I'm too shy to ....." "I couldn't think of speaking to...". You are labelling yourself as shy by affirming the lack of confidence each instance you think you are shy. We behave in a particular way because of the mind trap - the mind believes whatever you tell it - you are instructing it you are shy and voila you are shy! The great news is that you can transform whatever you think.

"The possibility of stepping into a higher plane is quite real for everyone. It requires no force or effort or sacrifice. It involves little more than changing our ideas about what is normal." Deepak Chopra

The initial thing to adjust is to look at yourself in a new-found way. Instruct yourself you can transform. You are beginning a different stage in your life. You are instantly going to perform in a changed way. You no longer think of how shy you used to be but you think of the social circumstances you are in and how you are planning to perform in it. You will be poised, friendly and at ease, whether you are asking a question at work or at a dinner party. You will be in control of your confidence in all situations. You can create your future by imagining how you aspire to be. If you think about yourself with assurance, you will perform with certainty and people will notice you as self-confident.

The adage by Henry Ford holds true - "Whether You Believe You Can, Or You Can't, You Are Right"

Some shy people exploit alcohol as a way to lose their inhibitions and turn into a "different" person. This is not a useful way to overcome your lack of confidence in the long term. Overcoming low self confidence in the long term means you need to transform how you think. If you adjust your mind set and think with assurance, you will transform your life in the long term.

One of the reasons shy people draw on alcohol to bolster their self confidence is that it makes other people seem less intimidating. It transforms you from shy introvert to outgoing extrovert but it's not the real you. To acquire real self confidence you need to transform your thinking and start to look at other people differently when you meet them.

The answer to your transformation is through your mind and your imagination. You have got to aspire to change and believe you are a self-confident person equipped to meet and greet the world. Your mind ought to be receptive to change and with this you have got to also believe other people deserve to be treated the same. You have got to meet people with an receptive mind and believe they are welcoming you with an open mind. Life is intended for living not for hiding behind. Believe you can.

Exercise Your Brain

So, you feel as though memory hasn't been serving you right? Are you worried you may be getting old and losing your mental power? I think there are too many people who just surrender too easily to memory loss, since they assume it's a natural part of aging. I also think this is a stupid thing to do, since the brain is not unlike any other muscle: in the sense that it can be strengthened by using the appropriate brain exercises... or it can atrophy in the absence of appropriate stimulus.

For some of you, the whole concept of brain exercises may sound a little strange. I should say that's too bad for you! That sort of reasoning won't encourage you to keep flexing those mental muscles, so there's a good chance your memory will indeed get weaker as you grow older. I understand most people tend to disregard the potential that can be attained from doing appropriate brain exercises, but I've found from personal experience that improving concentration and remembrance is indeed very much possible, with the right mind exercises.

Here's a good example: when I was younger (up to my twenties), I never memorized phone numbers. Never once, regardless of the simplicity of the number. When I was in college though, I read a magazine article that shifted my perception on how memory works, and I started putting together some routines to improve my skills at memorizing numbers. Nowadays, almost 20 years later, I should say I have gotten so good at this, that I seldom fail to memorize new phone numbers... without even trying. Memorizing numbers has just become second nature for me, but I think the main reason it works is because I have changed the way I look at numbers in the past decades.

And truth of the matter is that I've been doing specific number-based brain exercises without even knowing about it! I recently decided to invest in a digital guide focused on brain exercises, and I was quite thrilled to know there was a section in it that described similar processes to those I've been using instinctively to memorize numbers. It just makes me think that I can drastically strengthen my mind power, so I can't wait to try out these new techniques. And I think you should try them, as well.

SMARTER Goals Are The Way To Go

One of the most popular formulas for setting goals is SMART goals. Smart stands for:

S- Specific M- Measurable A- Achievable R- Realistic T- Timed

Now these are all undoubtedly incredibly important parts of the goal setting process. And it would be harder to reach your goal if you were missing any one of them. But this formula doesn't mention what are, to me, the two most important aspects of any goal.

Emotion You wont be motivated to work to achieve your goal if you aren't emotionally attached to it. Many people assume that if they want a goal they must be attached to achieving it. Make as many SMART goals as you like, but if you don't feel a thrill run through you when you first read it, you haven't made a good goal.

Emotion is where you should start when you sit down to write your goal. Instead of basing goals on what you might like having, base them on your biggest dreams. What makes you excited? What makes you want to dive right in and get going? It could be absolutely anything, but it has to be completely specific to you. You can't adopt someone else'a goal because you will not have any emotional connection with the goal at all. Is it more than imagination? Does the very idea of the goal make you feel elated?.

Right It's not so obvious how this affects your chances of success, but the goal must feel Right to you. It must be the right thing to do for you, the people around you, and the world. People have a basic tendency towards good and contribution, and you are likely in this category if you have an interest in this type of article. You will never achieve a goal if you have to go against your values to succeed. You won't let yourself.

Remember that what is right or wrong is completely subjective. What is right for one person may not be right for you. So focus on what the whole journey will be like, what would you have to do to get the goal and what will it be like to achieve it. What would it feel like to do the things you would need to do to achieve that goal? If you feel driven, elated, and happy then you know this is that Right goal for you. If you wish you could have it, but have a slight feeling of dread and that sick feeling in your tummy then it's not right for you.

Next you must examine what is making you feel this way. Is it a limiting belief that you carry, such as "rich people are generally bad", "there's not enough to go around". Or is the goal actually harmful to others and would it ruin your own self-respect. If it's the latter you need to create a completely different goal, but usually it's the former. It doesn't mean that you can't go for this goal, it just means that you need to address your limiting beliefs before you can move toward that goal. Don't attempt to reach the goal until you can gather evidence to support a belief that this goal is good for you and the world. If you can't see this, get a different goal.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with SMART goals, but it's not smart to only use this formula as there is more to successfully reaching your goals. Often people don't understand what they've done wrong, why they just can't reach any goal, no matter how "smart" they make their goal. Generally it's because they didn't have an emotional attachment to the goal, or they sabotaged themselves as they didn't believe the goal was Right.

So instead of SMART goals we should use SMARTER goals.

S- Specific M- Measurable A- Achievable R- Realistic T- Timed E- Emotional R- Right

Finding The Best Self Help Books

If you're perplexed by the variety of self-help books available, it can be difficult to identify those best to help you personally, as each of the authors have their own approach and whats to say thats best for you? The personal participation in exploring the content of the wide range of self help books can be a beneficial exercise in itself, and there is certain to be an author you can relate to whatever the area of development you want to improve.

It depends on the style of the author as to whether they will have a positive effect on the reader. The Positive-thinking books by Norman Vincent Peal were the first of the self-help titles, and since 'The Power Of Positive Thinking' (1952) and since then there have been many derivations which have certainly helped a lot of people to direct their lives positively.

There are self help books covering the areas of addiction, Low self-esteem, recovering from divorce and bereavement and books to enable and empower and to raise one's spiritual awareness and in more recent times since The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, which is a film and book collaboration about the Law of Attraction, by a number of self-help authors who have written some of the best self help books between them.

Stress and depression can be caused by anxiety which seems beyond self-management and although the solution needs to come from within, there are some effective methods for dealing with these situations in these books. Sometimes just by reading a self-help book, your attention will be directed towards the solution to your problem which in itself can help you to rationalize a solution for yourself.

If you can find an author whose style you empathize with, it will also be the most rewarding, there are many ways to apply psychological and spiritual methods to help with a variety of negative situations.

The best way to find useful self-help books is to research the various authors and maybe sample some of their writings to see if you empathize with their style.

Here's a list of some of the most inspirational self help authors I've found to be helpful:

Anthony Robbins - All his books are related to personal empowerment and development to achieve success

Deepak Chopra - Explains how to raise awareness and spirituality by following universal truths

Wayne Dyer - Motivational writer and speaker with an easy and practical style

Tolle Eckhart - Provides a spiritual approach to self-awareness and living in the now.

Barefoot Doctor - Manifestation and peace by meditating and raising your natural energy in accordance with TAO principles.

Some of the popular psychological techniques used to help achieve improvement in performance, both physical and mental include EFT(Emotional Freedom Technique, or 'tapping'), NLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming), and Energy Psychology and there are many self-help books with information on how these can be learned and applied at home,

Other topics of interest relating to widely available and accessible psychological tools that can be learned on your own with self-help books include

How to develop intuition and psychic senses

How to dowse with a pendulum,

learning muscle testing,

How to clear your chakras,

How to use crystals to cure ailments

Many of these techniques rely on visualization, which together with deep relaxation can be extremely powerful. This is the foundation for the Law of Attraction which states that what you consistently think about is what you will attract to yourself. If you learn to visualize what you really want to attract into your life and reproduce the emotional felling associated with obtaining your desire, your vibration will be aligned to the desire and attract your goal to you. It is important to reproduce the mood to replicate these feelings and this is where you have to work on your emotional state.

To help to get to a relaxed and receptive Alpha state, there are various frequency recordings such as binaural beats and hypnotic tape series on the market, these are available at websites such as The Unexplainable Store which have a range of downloadable brain entrainment recordings and Nightingale Conant, which specialises in CD and DVD sets by only the best authors available.

Having spent over 30 years in Financial Management having used the techniques of many self-help authors in dealing with stressful circumstances and people, Tony now has a 'Lifestyle Security' blog giving useful information on self help and securing a happy lifestyle at http://www.happy-247.com

Mind power - Developing Your Confidence

Most of us at some instance or other will need to discover ways of how to become confident. Self esteem encompasses many aspects so as to create a picture that we are have of ourselves. Inside our minds we bear a picture of how we look, who we are and what our strengths and weaknesses might be. The name used for this is self image, which we start to develop by a very early age.

Research has revealed that prolonged low self esteem can be the forerunner to disappointing life outcomes, combined with monetary and social problems. It is not easy to characterize the cause of low self esteem issues, as various studies have highlighted various problems. An illustration of this is that a number of studies have exposed how the problems of society can lead to low self esteem, while others have revealed that this is irrelevant to social and personal problems.

There are ways of learning how to become confident which can be put into practise throughout everyday life.

#1. Get Motivated. Being able to make yourself motivated is a profound way for improving self esteem and for increasing a belief that you can do whatever you choose. Motivation might be triggered by a sporting event, song or by the achievements of someone else. Your motivation will ensure that you ultimately succeed.

#2. Persistence. Try not to give up on things too easily. At times things could go wrong, but that doesn’t mean failure. By being persistent achieving the correct results can be all the more satisfying. This will help your endeavours in how to become confident, knowing that you can resolve tasks that have been set for you.

#3. Remain Positive. Always look for the up side in every situation, it feels much better to be upbeat in an adverse situation. You will not learn how to become confident by taking a pessimistic outlook and no doubt this will lead to depressing experiences. Losing a job viewed in another way might mean the door opening on splendid new opportunities.

#4. Face your fears. We all have things that we are scared of, be it physical objects or situations. Facing up to those fears can give you a real thrill and a feeling of achievement once you take on those challenges and sort out something you have been scared of in the past. These could just be small challenges but you will feel good about yourself afterwards.

#5. Socialising. Try to socialise with confident people. This will allow the knock on effect of you learning how to become confident, and building a confident outlook on life. People who are kind and treat you with respect will make you feel good about yourself. Being around pessimistic people will drag you down and decrease your self confidence.

Don’t be scared to give yourself praise after you complete or accomplish something that you thought was beyond yourself. Try to recognise when you have completed something to be proud of, as this will help to teach you how to become confident. Valuing yourself will make you feel good about yourself; you will after that be conscious of your own worth. Take pride in your abilities and endeavours. People often believe they would be much more successful if they can feel better about themselves.

Power of Mind- The Power Of Positive Thinking

If you do not already know the power of positive thinking, it is high time you find out more about it and start applying it to your life. You can easily unleash your power of mind through positive thinking and change your life eternally. It can actually help you to accomplish your goals and attain the success you have always wanted.

How exactly can Positive Thinking help you in life?

I believe everybody knows the basic benefits that positive thinking can bring to any individual. When you are faced with a situation or meet with a person that upsets you, thinking positively alone will brighten up your day. If you are a positive individual, you are guaranteed to be successful at overcoming any obstacles in life simply because you will be able to maintain good feelings and thoughts about the situation.

By contrast, a person who tends to think negatively when faced with a problem will be at a distinct disadvantage. Such people will indulge themselves with all the negative thoughts which will magnify what was actually a small problem. Over time, these worries will become too much for them to endure and they are more likely to suffer from depression. Therefore, even when they are faced with many opportunities to help them get of the bleak situation, they will not be able to seize the chance and move on. Instead, their misery will be added on and their lives will get worst.

In fact, some experts believe that positive thinking can help a person to achieve much more than just overcome obstacles in life, it can even help an individual to prevent or fight against illnesses. This is because when a person harbours positive thoughts, he is filled with great feelings that can help him to get through with anything in life. Studies have also shown that a cancer patient can live longer if he is positive in his thinking.

In recent years, mind experts have carried out studies which lead them to believe that positive thinking can help an individual to gain more benefits than simply physical health. It can actually help a person to achieve what he wants in life, because when someone wants something badly and thinks positively about gaining, he will attract the positive energies which actually helps him to achieve his goals; law of attraction.

How to become a positive individual?

Now that you know how positive thinking can actually help you to achieve great things in life, your next step is to find out how you can become a positive individual? There are basically two groups of people in this universe, the positive thinkers and the negative ones. To the positive thinkers, thinking positively is a natural habit for them. On the other hand, the other group is those who find thinking positively as a challenge.

Power of Mind - Success In 3 Steps

The power of mind is a concept that has been around for a very long time. It refers to our ability to control our own lives without getting influenced by any negative external forces. Whether you realize it or not, this idea actually plays an important role in determining our success in life. Many names have also been evolved around this same idea, such as "we are what we think we are", "Positive Thinking" and "Law of Attraction".

So how is it possible that simply by using our power of mind, we can get what we want?

1. Generate positive energy

In order to attain success, it is vital that we control our thought process because if we focus too much on the negative thoughts, the negative energy produced will be just as much. For example, if we have a fear of failing in our business venture and constantly think about it, we will be more likely to meet with obstacles and negative results. Thus, the chances of really failing will be high so we should never allow our negative energy to manifest within us.

On the other hand, when we train our mind to focus on the positive thoughts instead, we will generate more positive energy which can then help us to achieve our goals.

2. Conditioning our mind

Studies done have shown that we are shaped by our own conscious and unconscious thoughts. Therefore, if we make use of the power of our mind and condition our unconscious mind into believe that we have already achieved what we want, we will be able to achieve success in no time at all. What we need to do is to visualize the good things that we want in life and this should be done everyday. Over time, our mind will believe that we already have our desired lifestyle and when our mind does not see the things in real life, it will search for it and start work towards achieving it.

Similarly, it is vital to stop thinking about the 'what ifs?' Should you feel that your mind has wondered off to think about something negative in your life, switch to the positive thinking mode immediately.

3. Believe in our rights to the goodness in life

Once we know what we want and have been visualizing our wants in our minds, the next step is to condition our minds into believing that we deserve all the good things in life. We should also 'trick' our mind into thinking that it is already waiting for us at the end of the path. Create a desire to want to achieve all these things through our power of mind and we will be able to generate more positive energy within us. We are actually building up the "positive thinking" step and by focusing on it, we will be brought one step closer to success.

Everyone is capable of achieving great success through using our power of mind to focus on only the positive thoughts. If you really do want to have a better life, then start applying the 3 steps above, starting from today and you will have a pleasant surprise.

Mind Power - Sentient Reform

When thinking about many of the proven mind control techniques, what you really need to do is to look at the power of the mind, and what kind of technology has been round that has been actually used to penetrate the great and vast expanse of the brain. Once, a man who was considered a world genius said that we only had control of less than 5% of the brain, while the other 95% is actually in the hands of the preconscious mind, the one mind that we have no ability to actually see or actually dive into. This is the world that is within us, the mystery that we live in every day, and the enigma that propels us into life. What is the subconscious mind, it is not some entity that lives in the inky pools of our own confusions, it is no small voice that tells us what to do in the voice of a faith we cannot understand. Within our heads, we carry with us our own universe, and the more we do not know, the more we get sucked into the black hole of our own misconceptions.

Strong suasion or sentiment reform as it is sometimes acknowledged, is foremost translated as a organized arrangement of graduated strong regulate and demeanour command fashioned to deceptively and surreptitiously falsify and charm individuals, unremarkably in a group background, in order for the minds of the programme to benefit in some way, unremarkably fiscally or governmentality.

The essential strategy used by those effective such programs is to systematically take, successiveness and isochronous numerous compelling suasion tactics over extended periods of sentence. There are seven main tactic typecasts found in various combinations in a compelling persuasion programme. A powerful suasion programme can still be quite good without the presence of all or any number of these tactics typecasts.

That a big mortal should in public talk about one's wonts or tendencies -- some of them of very individual nature -- profess one's faults, accept compelling criticism for insignificant infringements, will not be indeed in the form of time anything to be thought juvenile or playful: it merely will be practised as devastating. This continued feeling of humiliation turned crucial in the step-by-step psychogenic splitting up of the many personalities of people who are entrapped. Furthermore, this actual operation of critism and mind control has been around for a long time now, since the time of the Romans.

We must know that to truly master ourselves, we need to look within. We need to place the foot not forward in the real world, but within ourselves and take our own hands into a great journey of the nothing. In this journey we might have fear in our hearts, we might have terror, we might freeze at the passing shadows of the unknown, but to truly know, to gain the prize of proven mind control techniques, we must be brave and traverse the dark with nothing but the pulse of exploration beating in our hearts.

Don't Hide Behind A Lack Of Self-Confidence?

Wouldn't it feel superb to be one of those people that people noticed? You would be the person to stand out from the background. Just think what a positive social skill you'd possess. You would stand out during any job interview, be remembered, you'd also make an impression on a blind date, you'd be the person getting the phone call. Maybe that's not how it happens to you at the moment, are you one way or another continually in the background? Do less well qualified or less capable people seem to be getting the opportunities? It's likely that you are merely not making an impression on the proper people and odds are that it's because you are not beating low self confidence and being too shy in your attitude.

I'm not suggesting that you develop into a bighead but taking cover behind lack of confidence will mean you lose out on so much. Modesty is a pleasant quality to possess but as soon as lack of confidence is inhibiting your social skills, you know you've got to transform.

Life is meant for living and living the finest life you can. Have you forever been shy? Would you say you are a genuinely shy person? Does lack of confidence run in your family? The great news is that there is no genetic rationale why you are shy and you can transform it. We possess the capacity to transform and be who we desire to be. There are two significant things we need to fix: the first is beating low self confidence and leaving the shy person behind; and the other is to stop labelling yourself as a shy person - no one is biologically shy - you've educated yourself to be shy either consciously or involuntarily. The great news is you possess the capacity to transform.

If you tell yourself something lots of times each day, you are training your brain to be whatever you tell it to be eg "I'm too shy to ....." "I couldn't think of speaking to...". You are labelling yourself as shy by affirming the lack of confidence each occasion you think you are shy. We operate in a precise way because of the mind trap - the mind believes whatever you tell it - you are instructing it you are shy and voila you are shy! The great news is that you can transform whatever you think.

"The possibility of stepping into a higher plane is quite real for everyone. It requires no force or effort or sacrifice. It involves little more than changing our ideas about what is normal." Deepak Chopra

The initial aspect to adjust is to look at yourself in a original way. Advise yourself you can transform. You are beginning a brand new episode in your life. You are immediately going to operate in a changed way. You no longer think of how shy you used to be but you think of the social circumstances you are in and how you are planning to behave in it. You will be sure of yourself, friendly and at ease, whether you are asking a question at work or at a dinner party. You will be in control of your confidence in all situations. You can create your future by imagining how you would like to be. If you think about yourself self-confidently, you will behave with confidence and people will picture you as self-possessed.

The adage by Henry Ford holds true - "Whether You Believe You Can, Or You Can't, You Are Right"

Some shy people rely on alcohol as a way to lose their inhibitions and turn into a "different" person. This is not a beneficial way to overcome your lack of confidence in the long term. Overcoming low self confidence in the long term means you need to transform how you think. If you adjust your mind set and think self-confidently, you will transform your life in the long term.

One of the reasons shy people make use of alcohol to bolster their self confidence is that it makes other people seem less frightening. It transforms you from shy introvert to outgoing extrovert but it's not the real you. To find genuine self confidence you need to transform your thinking and start to look at other people differently when you meet them.

The basis to your transformation is through your mind and your imagination. You need to desire to change and believe you are a self-possessed person set to meet and greet the world. Your mind has to be receptive to change and with this you need to also believe other people deserve to be treated the same. You need to meet people with an receptive mind and believe they are welcoming you with an open mind. Life is intended for living not for hiding behind. Believe you can.

Easy Effective Personal Organisation

Life is so easy. You plan your work and list out what you are going to do on your 'Job's List' and then you just get on with it. No one interrupts you, you don't get any telephone calls, your boss doesn't make unreasonable demands...and there are fairies at the bottom of your garden!

OK, so life's not like that. You do get interruptions, you do get telephone calls and your boss does make unreasonable demands. So what are you going to do about it? Not bother to plan because there's no point? Just get on with whatever comes to mind? We suggest not. Get organised. Let your conscious brain rule your working life, not your subconscious. Don't let your subconscious cloud what you are doing with those negative emotions.

We suggest that you operate a three-tier system of self-organisation,

A day book A job's list A diary

Let's look at each of these in turn.

Day book

Most, if not all of you, will already be using job's lists. But are you using them efficiently? How many jobs have you ticked off at the end of the day? How many new jobs have been added? If your boss rings and asks you to do one or two extra things for him, do you just add them to the list?

Why not keep a daybook? A simple bound book will do. Then, whatever happens during the day, well, note it in your daybook; don't interfere with your job's list. It's a place to record all of those reactive things that just happen.

Then, at the end of the day (or first thing in the morning if you prefer) go through your daybook and transfer the relevant items to you job's list.

Job's list

Use your job's list to control your day to day work. As part of your regular review of your work, go through your list and prioritise your work. Use any classification that you like. Why not just keeps it simple? 1 for the most important jobs, 2 for the not so important and 3 for the rest. It doesn't matter how you do it; devise something that suits you.

If something needs to be done today, then clearly it's category 1. What about those jobs that, well, they don't have to be done today but it would be a real bonus if they were. Maybe these are category 1 as well. Look at each job and look at the return on investment. Which ones are going to give you the biggest return on investment in respect of your personal and business goals? The bigger the payback, the higher the category.

There are two exceptions to this rule. Firstly, jobs that can cause you stress. Get these out of the way as quickly as you can. You won't really be able to concentrate properly on anything else while these are hanging over you. Your subconscious brain will keep reminding you of them and you'll feel bad. Secondly, jobs that require interaction with people. Whether that's within your organisation or outside, deal with these jobs as category 1.

Don't have too many jobs on your job's list. It will just make you feel bad if you look at the list at the end of the day and you've only ticked off a couple of things. Maybe have sub lists for ongoing projects; maybe have sub lists for those small tasks that aren't important that we could do in those rare moments when we get some free time.

Diary

Now you can plan your day. Look down your job's list and put down in your diary what jobs you would like to do today and when you would like to do them. Put times down if you want. Maybe just put 'morning' or 'afternoon'. Be realistic. Don't put down more than you can realistically do.

Now we've got ourselves organised with a daybook, a job's list and a diary, what are the things that are going to stop us working with these in the best possible way?

Procrastination

We are all guilty of procrastination at some time. There are those jobs we don't like doing. Those jobs we find boring. Those phone calls we don't really want to make. That person we need to see with the news we'd rather not tell them. We're human; we're all guilty!

We subconsciously think that maybe those unpleasant jobs will go away. But they never do. We have to do them in the end. Sometimes this means that we don't do as good a job as we should have done due to lack of time. Sometimes the task turns out to be not as difficult as we thought; that confrontation not as upsetting and we wish we had just done it straight away and avoided all of that stress.

So do the tasks you normally procrastinate over first. Get them out of the way. Get rid of that stress. Do it. You'll be proud of yourself! And then give yourself a reward.

Steps To Successful Personal Goal Setting

Life moves on each day of the week, things alter: babies are born, people pass away, others are made jobless, others win the lottery, someone fresh moves in next door, your favourite store on the main street shuts, a different shopping and entertainment area is built on some neighboring wasteland. Life moves on. There's nothing we can do about it. But the thing we can achieve is move with the changes. Take advantage of life. Live it. Nobody really wants to live in the past where nothing changes. You know you must to move on even if it's imposed on you. So why not be ahead of the game and live life to the full. Are you willing? Are you set to take your life to a higher level? A level where you can take advantage of whatever the world is offering you and you can take charge of wherever your life is headed? If you've answered yes, that's terrific as you are putting yourself on a route towards a better, more fulfilled exciting life.

Make Conscious Decisions Sounds simple but making conscious decisions as opposed to drifting with the current is not as simple as it seems. Every day you reach thousands of decisions. Some decisions you don't even think about, others you make intuitively, a few you decide on impulse but you NEED to be aware that certain decisions can affect the remainder of your life. What you need to fix is to THINK and set the rational part of your brain into action more. Make certain to you allow yourself space to think and come to the suitable decisions. You can pay attention to the advice of others but you are in control of your own life and you have to come to the ultimate decisions. If you have constantly been shy you can revolutionize that by making the decision to change and to make yourself feel self-confident. If you are plump you can make a decision to dine healthily wherever feasible, you can make a conscious decision each occasion you are offered an unhealthy option to say no an seek a healthy alternative. Life is about choices, it's ab out decisions. Our life is the product of the decisions we've taken so far.

"Choices are the hinges of destiny" Attributed to both Edwin Markham and Pythagoras.

What Do You Really Want From Life? Sounds impressive doesn't it? But of course you are here just the once (for argument's sake) and it's up to you to decide what kind of life you would like and more importantly what are you planning to do about it. What do you really desire, what do you perceive as being successful? Is it meeting the ideal partner, making lots of money, being a surfer all day, being a doctor, being a fantastic dad or mom? A sensible start is to take a sheet of paper and write down all the things you would like to make you a success in your eyes. This will provide you your goals, that when you have achieved them you would feel successful. Now you need to think about them and how you will accomplish them, chunk them into manageable steps eg if you aim to write a best seller, you can start with chunking this goal into manageable targets of writing a page a day. By the end of a year you would come up with a 365 page manuscript. Look at every one of your goals and start by chunking them down and giving yourself time deadlines. You immediately have a strategy to obtain whatever you would like in life. Each week look at how you are doing and amend and adjust it if needed. Don't be too tough on yourself but remember it's your life only you can live it.

"It is never too late to be who you might have been". George Eliot

Think Positively and Expect good Results Sounds a bit old hat doesn't it. You may perhaps squander all your life wishing you could catch sight of a polar bear in the North Pole but if you don't save the money and get a ticket you are never going to go! It's no good looking back on your life once you are 90 saying if only I'd set that company ...if only I'd taken that job.. if only I'd been kinder to...If only.... Hindsight is marvellous if only we could take advantage of it while we come to the decisions. We are normally much wiser following the event. Learning from experience gives you the confidence to try unusual things. To achieve your outcome or goal you need to think about how you are planning to get there. Your mind needs to be receptive and flexible to all opportunities. Don't be too rigid you need to adapt to all the possibilities around you. Be committed to your goals and targets, expect to achieve success but at all times be aware of opportunities that are open to you, be receptive and flexible to the options that life is presenting to yo u.

"It is easy to sit up and take notice. What is difficult is getting up and taking action." Al Batt Writer and Speaker

Trust yourself Some call it a gut feeling, others call it intuition. Some notable inventions and ideas turn up when you are not even thinking about it. Some even come in your sleep. The mind is a fabulous tool, millions of times better than any computer. We simply need to trust it more. These notable ideas come from when the mind is in a relaxed state and is not under pressure and has space to dedicating itself to creative and productive reflection. Now you are getting your goals and thoughts under control; you are making conscious decisions; you have identified whatever you would like in life; you are receptive to fresh opportunities and are expecting success; now maybe one of the hardest things is you need to have trust and gain confidence in yourself. It's simple to blame others and circumstances for things not going well in your life but you need to take responsibility for whatever's gone on in the past. Don't try to over analyse whatever's happened in the past, simply know it's happened and let your mind be free for al l impending decisions. It's right now time to trust yourself to take responsibility and direction for your life so that you can develop your full capability and be the person you would like to be.

A Personal Change Strategy For Success In Life And Business

A personal change strategy for success in life and business.

Mankind's ability to adapt to change has made us the most successful species on this planet. Without this ability we would not have the technology and industry that we have and are continually developing.

Change is a part of living and without it we would stagnate. We shape the environment, in an attempt to make life safer and more comfortable, at an ever increasing pace. This creates new challenges to overcome with new opportunities enabling us to develop as a species. For the external world there are plans and models put into practice at the organisation level for controlling change. There are change strategies in place. Individually we must adapt to follow external changes, but are we aware of our own change strategy?

The successful person is always willing to adapt and change with the world around them. The really successful person is one who is able to create change in the world around them. An aware and inquisitive mind is essential. Therefore, the successful person must be sensitive to the world around them. A top businessman, for example, needs to be conscious of gaps in the market that they are ready to exploit. He needs a change strategy and to be aware of it.

A positive frame of mind will form the base of a can do attitude. People who think positively are far more likely to see challenges rather than problems or opportunities rather than difficulties. The positive mental attitude of the successful businessman means that opportunity becomes a reality because they also have the drive and motivation to succeed and make their dream come true. So as you can see there is much to be gained from developing a state of optimism in your character with regard to change. The problem for a lot of people is in developing this optimism and overcoming bad habits of pessimistic attitudes. In essence, a confidence is required.

One of the reasons top businessmen are able to adapt and change so readily is because they remain optimistic in their appraisal of change. Rather than running terrified of the unknown successful business people are eternal optimists and embrace the unknown. A change means a fresh opportunity, it is no surprise that the most dynamic and successful people are those who change and adapt accordingly to the environment and the situation. It fits in with Darwin's 'survival of the fittest'.

Develop optimism. Develop a change strategy in your mind to maintain the habit of confidence in your ability to regard change with interest, fascination and excitement.

Optimists are self-disciplined and persistent in what they want to achieve in their life. Optimists plan and take action to move forward. They constantly learn about how to get better at their skills. Their self-confidence helps them to look for solutions and lead them to success in their goals. If you are pessimistic it is time to shed your pessimistic attitude and develop optimism in its place. There is no place in the world of success for negative attitudes. Think about what you can do rather than the normal trend of what you cannot. Focusing on deficiencies is certainly important for self improvement but being overly critical and analytical is not. The trick is to find the balance, it is important to remind yourself what you are good at if you are to have the confidence to tackle new things.

Having the courage to learn and change may not necessarily make you a happy person, but it will help you negotiate hard times more smoothly and successfully as well as learn from these experiences.

Understanding how your mind works helps you to know when and how to manage your mind to make the process of adaptation happen more smoothly and perhaps more quickly. It also helps you monitor both the conscious and unconscious spheres of your mind and gives you feedback about whether you are adapting successfully. It gives you a change strategy.

There are concepts about that if you think of what you want, it will come. However, this requires belief. Therefore, you have to have faith. Is this not something intangible? You need to develop techniques that you can feel as tangible, something almost physical. Then you can have the belief.

Mind Power - Improving Concentration

When you don't like something about yourself, there are usually two choices: cope or adapt. You can either learn to accept your shortcomings, or otherwise do something to surpass them. This is something everyone is fully aware of when it comes to changing the way their hair looks, reducing their body fat or even change their physical appearance. Strangely though, most people don't seem to realize they can really go as far as doing mind exercises that will help in improving concentration as well as improving all kinds of mental skills. Truth of the matter is that getting smarter is not much different than losing some weight... in fact for some people, it may be easier!

Even though the human mind is an extremely complex engine, we should remember that all the while it's essentially a muscle. And like all other muscles in our body, it can be made stronger with the right exercises, or it can be allowed to get numb and weak, from lack of appropriate stimulus. This may come as a surprise to many people, but intelligence is something that can be exercised and drastically improved. Similarly, improving concentration is as simple as doing mental exercises that will nurture your ability to focus on something. I've been recently reading a digital guide on brain exercises which has completely redefined the way I think about human intelligence... much for the best. I never even knew there was such a thing as mind exercises, but now I'm using them to great effect.

If you've ever felt depressed because you feel your brain doesn't quite catch up on learning something as fast as you wish, or if you've been frustrated because you can't quite wrap up your mind around a subject matter you've been trying to learn... I think there's hope for you. However, rather than cramming knowledge in your mind and hoping for the best, you need to train your mind to really work like a sponge and absorb knowledge on its own. After doing some simple exercises regularly, you'll be amazed with how easier it gets to remember things, as well as focus on complex problems or riddles. It feels very much the same as going to the gym twice a week for a couple of months: after a while, those same weights just start feeling lighter and lighter every time!

The Purpose Myth

The era of personal development in which we exist, echoes the message 'You are here to find your purpose'. The implication is that once we find our true meaning and purpose for living, we unlock the key to health, abundance and happiness. Anyone responding to that call finds themselves on a path of self-discovery in search of the holy grail of one's unique purpose and meaning. There is no shortage of information, direction, processes or value systems beseeching us to heed their solutions. Nor is there any overriding system enabling us to evaluate the merit of their claims. We find ourselves alone in this pursuit, journeying alongside others who equally seek this seeming nirvana. What myths surround this ubiquitous search for meaning? What are the unquestioned social and cultural assumptions that limit how we approach this experiential journey?

I suggest the following myths about the nature of finding purpose in contemporary western society:

1.Purpose must be altruistic or for the good of others

When people talk of finding their purpose, there is invariably an association of its philanthropic or altruistic nature in the service of others. Purpose is often associated with achieving something for the good of humankind or contributing to something bigger than us. When someone chimes up with 'My purpose is to be happy' responses or validation to this position are couched in 'Yes, when you are happy you can be of value to others, if only in terms of how you teach or inspire others by how you live'.

2.Money and purpose are diametrically opposed

Purpose is seen to be above the accumulation of wealth or riches. Those who achieve great monetary wealth often meet with cries of 'But will it make you happy? What is it all for?' Dr. Jo Vitale, author and contributor to the film The Secret says 'I tell people that the spiritual and the material are one. They are two sides of the same coin. Anyone who says a material anything isn't spiritual is being self-righteous. The Divine created it all, including you, me, and really nice cars'. (Vitale 2008: 17)

3.Purpose is the most valuable existential pursuit of individual meaning

Individualistic cultures impose another limitation, the pursuit of self-actualisation, upon those seeking purpose. Despite the altruistic focus on evaluating purpose, the individual is implored to 'find themselves' before they can contribute meaningfully to others.

4.Life has meaning and purpose and once we find it, we will be satisfied

The pursuit of ease or peace is considered the goal of meaning making. Pain or suffering, if seen (within one's value system) as important lessons along this path of meaning-making, is seen to be rewarded with recognition later in this life or beyond.

5.Purpose is singular and having multiple purposes reflects an inability to fully embrace the sole purpose of our existence

The desire for definitive answers limits how we consider purpose, as if it must be focused, singular and clear. This limits us and negates us tapping into our uniqueness and ways in which we could have multiple purpose, albeit with imbued with common values.

These and other myths limit our ability to objectively consider the infinite possibilities of what purpose might look like. It is as if when 'All we have is a hammer, every problem becomes a nail'.

Dr Jo Vitale, (and I paraphrase), challenges people who say 'I don't know what my purpose or passion is'. He responds with 'I don't believe you; you are lying!' Whilst his response might be seen as perpetuating the mythology of purpose seeking, I believe his response offers an opportunity to view purpose differently.

What if we consciously or unconsciously make purpose seeking inaccessible (by hoodwinking ourselves by these myths) in an effort to relinquish our responsibility of what finding it would really entail? What if rejecting a more complex and expansive view of meaning making assuages the anxiety we fear will result once we no longer have an excuse for anything we want to create.

In considering your purpose or the purpose of the very nature of Being, step back and try to bracket the myths and assumptions that limit how you view this worthy ideal.

Mind Power - Unleashing Your Profit

Is our power of mind really so great that we can condition it to achieve anything we want, such as gaining more profits and finding our desired relationship? What exactly are mind power secrets and is there any way that we can unlock these secrets to help us attain successes in life? Over the years, there have been numerous studies done to prove the power of our minds and the results have been positive. If you have yet to discover the keys to these secrets, this article will be a life-changing experience for you!

What are the Potentials of our Power of Mind?

Based on the results of the numerous studies done, experts have discovered that there are actually a lot potentials in the power of the mind but these powers have not been tapped. In comparison, our physical form is even found to be inferior to our mind power in many aspects. Take for instance a handicapped person or someone who is resting in bed. No work is being carried out as long as you are not working on your physical muscles.

On the other hand, even in that resting position, your mind is still able to travel far and wide. Using our power of mind, we can foretell the future, achieve what we want, gain inner peace as well as communicate with other like-minded persons. That is how powerful our minds can be. So you can see that if you are able to tap into the untouched potentials of your mind, the economic, social and personal achievements you can gain is immeasurable!

Unlocking Our Power Of Mind

There are basically two ways in which you can unlock your mind power which is either by getting a professional to guide you through the whole process but that can cost you a bomb or you can also learn the process on your own which is definitely a cheaper choice. Do not get intimidated by the second choice which may seem daunting to many. You can easily get help from the experts except that you do not have to pay a hefty sum for their guidance.

So how can that be accomplished? You can do that through the use of a basic power of mind resource or book that you can easily purchase. Depending on the resource that you have chosen to use, the tips and facts presented may differ. Nevertheless, the basic principles contained within will still serve the same purpose of unlocking our mind powers. What are some of these basic principles?

1.Practice Makes Perfect

If you are expecting to be successful at unlocking your mind power right from the first sitting, you might be disappointed. Bear in mind that this is the same as any other task you may wish to attempt, that is, you can expect more success by practising more. As the saying goes, 'practice makes perfect' so the more exercises you do, the better you will be. By practice, it refers to both formal and informal moments such as when you are meditating or reflecting upon yourself.

One example is to take a few moments each day just thinking about what you hope to achieve in life so that both your conscious and subconscious minds believe that the dream will come true one day. You can think about your dream house or car or even your dream lover. Over time, you will find your negative thoughts and energies will disappear. In order to be successful at unlocking your mind powers to accomplish your goals, you need to ensure that you harbour only positive thoughts.

2. Positive Thinking

As mentioned earlier, in order to be successful in using your power of mind, you must be a positive individual. Usually the people who fail in unlocking the potentials of their minds are those who allow negative thoughts to fill their minds. Your mind is just like a magnet, thus if you are positive in your thoughts, you will attract all the positive energies, thereby gaining great success in life. Similarly, when you harbour negative thoughts, you will be attracting all the unwanted negative energies and will tend to suffer from more failures.

As such, you need to ensure that both your conscious and subconscious minds are positive in believing that you can really achieve what you dream to get. So, starting from now, start visualizing in your mind you dream life and believe that you can achieve it one day and eliminate all negative thoughts as soon as they creep into your mind.

3. Healthy Physical Self

Although you only need to use your mental self when you are using your mind power, you must still have a healthy body in order to achieve success. If you are too sickly, your mental self will be affected by the pain and sufferings. Thus, learn to relax and heal your physical self if you are suffering from it and once you have done that, your mental power will be strengthened.

As you will probably know by now, the only person who can unlock the potentials to your power of mind is yourself. If you want to get out of debts and skyrocket your business profits, you can do so once you have successfully unlocked your mind powers. Apply the steps mentioned above and you are on your way to attaining great success in life.

Managing Your Shyness

Wouldn't it feel terrific to be one of those people that people noticed? You would be the person to stand out from the background. Just think what a advantageous social skill you'd possess. You would stand out during any job interview, be remembered, you'd also cut a dash on a first date, you'd be the person getting the phone call. Maybe that's not how it happens to you at the moment, are you one way or another forever in the background? Do less well qualified or less skilled people seem to be getting the opportunities? It's likely that you are simply not making an impression on the correct people and odds are that it's because you are not beating low self confidence and being too shy in your attitude.

I'm not suggesting that you turn into a bighead but taking cover behind lack of self confidence will mean you lose out on so much. Modesty is a virtuous quality to possess but as soon as lack of self confidence is inhibiting your social skills, you know you've got to alter. Life is intended for living and living the most fulfilled life you can.

Have you forever been shy? Would you say you are a biologically shy person? Does lack of self confidence run in your family? The great news is that there is no genetic explanation why you are shy and you can alter it. We possess the capability to alter and be who we choose to be. There are two important things we need to work out: the first is beating low self confidence and leaving the shy person behind; and the other is to stop labelling yourself as a shy person - no one is genetically shy - you've trained yourself to be shy either consciously or without thinking. The great news is you possess the capability to alter.

If you tell yourself something lots of times each day, you are training your brain to be whatever you tell it to be eg "I'm too shy to ....." "I couldn't think of speaking to...". You are labelling yourself as shy by affirming the lack of self confidence each instant you think you are shy. We do something in a specific way because of the mind trap - the mind believes whatever you tell it - you are instructing it you are shy and voila you are shy! The great news is that you can revolutionize whatever you think.

"The possibility of stepping into a higher plane is quite real for everyone. It requires no force or effort or sacrifice. It involves little more than changing our ideas about what is normal." Deepak Chopra

The first feature to alter is to look at yourself in a different way. Inform yourself you can alter. You are beginning a fresh phase in your life. You are right away going to conduct yourself in a new way. You no longer think of how shy you used to be but you think of the social setting you are in and how you are planning to conduct yourself in it. You will be self-confident, friendly and at ease, whether you are asking a question at work or at a dinner party. You will be in control of your confidence in all situations. You can create your future by imagining how you choose to be. If you think about yourself with confidence, you will conduct yourself with assurance and people will perceive you as sure of yourself.

The maxim by Henry Ford holds true - "Whether You Believe You Can, Or You Can't, You Are Right"

Some shy people make use of alcohol as a way to lose their inhibitions and turn into a "different" person. This is not a satisfactory way to overcome your lack of self confidence in the long term. Overcoming low self confidence in the long term means you need to revolutionize how you think. If you alter your mind set and think with confidence, you will revolutionize your life in the long term. One of the reasons shy people exploit alcohol to bolster their self confidence is that it makes other people seem less scary. It transforms you from shy introvert to outgoing extrovert but it's not the real you. To obtain authentic self confidence you need to alter your thinking and start to look at other people differently when you meet them.

The secret to your transformation is through your mind and your imagination. You have to choose to change and believe you are a assured person prepared to meet and greet the world. Your mind needs to be ready to change and with this you have to also believe other people deserve to be treated the same. You have to meet people with an receptive mind and believe they are welcoming you with an open mind. Life is meant for living not for hiding behind. Believe you can.

Use Your Mind Power To Shape Your Destiny

Author: Jordan Cheng

The human mind power is probably the greatest mystery in the history of mankind.

Despite having gone through thousands of years of civilizations, man has only recently found out that the human brain power is generally under-utilized. We have traveled so far as to reach the moon, yet most people today have been able to utilize only up to 10 percent of what the brain is capable of achieving.

It holds the greatest power of creation in the universe, yet it is so elusive to many people, who are ever in search of the power that can bring success and glory in life.

From a young age, we learned directly or indirectly what are the important things we need to do in our life so as to get ahead in the world. In school, we are taught to study hard to get a good paper qualification. In work, we know our life single most important purpose is to work hard, constantly upgrade our skill sets to stay relevant to the fast-changing world, and to network diligently to widen the power of our social network.

There is always an endless list of things waiting to be accomplished. But sadly, most people never truly feel secured no matter how hard they have worked. No matter how far people have gone in their pursuit of power, they will inevitably experience an increasing sense of lagging behind, which constantly drain their energy and confidence.

Ironically, the very power that they set out to pursuit through the acquisition of wealth and status has eventually created a desperate sense of powerlessness deep inside their heart.

Why is it so?

The truth is, in the pursuit of all the powers that should supposedly help us achieve wealth, status and success, people have abandoned the one and only power that really matters in their life, that is, the subconscious mind power.

The subconscious mind power is our innate gift. Yet not everybody is aware of its power or even its existence. Some people have probably heard of such innate power but refuse to believe that it works. There are many who are aware and believed in this innate power, are learning how to master the technique of tapping the power residing in their subconscious mind.

Our subconscious mind holds the power to create anything that our mind can possibly conceive. The very challenge that people face in harnessing their subconscious mind power is how to tame their conscious mind. A mind that is untamed wonders in all direction from one moment to another.

A mind with wondering unfocused thoughts has very little power to command the subconscious mind. Just as the laser beam will not have any power when it is scattered.

However, this is exactly the kind of mental state most people are having today, as a result of countless bombardments of information, stress and temptations in our modern world.

Calming the mind and be still is not the natural state of being for most people. It takes efforts and practices to be able to quiet our conscious mind so as to control our subconscious mind. Meditation is one good way to tame the mind, but it is by no means an easy process. Some people spend years to perfect their skill of meditation, and achieve a state of being unsurpassed before.

Today, studies of the science of mind have provided substantial proofs to confirm the viability of such subconscious mind power; more people are convinced and curious to learn more about how to master their subconscious mind.

The scientific findings on the potential of human mind is known to be the greatest discovery of our time, with the potential to leapfrogged the progress of our civilization like the invention of light-bulk, car, airplane, telephone, etc.

Today, after years of efforts in mind research and brain development, mind tools such as mind hypnosis are available to help people achieve effective control of their mind. Having a powerful mind is like having the anchor for our body, mind and soul, which ensures that every other aspect of life, such as health, mental, emotional, finance, and relationship, will be firmly secured.

Learning how to tap the subconscious mind power is the ultimate life skill anyone should seek to master. It is considered to be knowledge of the highest order, which probably surpass any other skills in its ability to shape our future and create our life success.

The famous metaphysical scientist and writer, Christian Larson said:

"He who can change his mind every day and think the new about everything every day, will always be well; he will always have happiness; he will always be free; his life will always be interesting; he will constantly move forward into the larger, the richer and the better; and whatever is needed for his welfare today, of that he shall surely have abundance."

"A man may live the way he wants to live when he learns to think what he wants to think."

Unlock Your Hidden Mind Power

Do you want to access the deepest recesses of your mind where astounding mental powers reside? Imagine if you could reach deep meditative states like Zen monks and condition your mind to achieve your potential in areas like finances, relationships and health. Quantum Mind Power is a brain wave entrainment program that lets you control your brain in such a way that your mind powers are put to work creating the life you deserve.

In recent years, much interest has developed in the Law of Attraction and manifesting your desires. Although nice in theory, people rarely get the results they are seeking with positive thinking alone. Positive thinking just barely scratches the surface of what your mind is capable of. Quantum Mind Power dives deep into your brain and actually creates new neural pathways. So when your brain changes, your perception and behavior changes as well. These changes allow your mental powers to flourish.

Your brain is not an easy thing to train. You have probably experienced this when you try to meditate. Your mind wanders, you fidget. Your mind constantly replays your old negative conditioning that manifests in a life that is less than you want it to be.

Quantum Mind Power bypasses all the obstacles your stubborn brain throws in your path. It does it automatically and quickly, even if your mind is resistant to change. A trained scientist developed this program after years of study on the brain. He called his method of mind control the Morry Method.

This futuristic technology uses an established law of physics called entrainment, which states that two vibrations will lock into each other so that they vibrate in unison. So how will this help you tap into the hidden powers of your mind? Quantum Mind Power is a brain wave entrainment program that bathes your brain in a specific vibration that causes your brain to vibrate in sync.

In short, when you listen to the tunes and patterns in the Quantum Mind Power program, your mind quickly and automatically enters into a deep meditative state. The depth of your mental state is determined by the frequency of the brainwaves.

If you are a student of mind powers, you will immediately recognize the power behind such a feat. Adepts and Yogis spend decades training their minds to reach these deep states. When you change your brainwaves, you change your life. Suddenly you are able to manifest your desires and can leave wishful thinking to the amateurs.

Brainwave entrainment is a form of self-improvement that has been scientifically tested and proven successful. Quantum Mind Power forces your mind into deep theta and delta states where the quarrelsome surface mind is silenced. These deep states are where your true seat of power lies, and when you can access those at will, you can create a happier life filled with the objects you desire.

Quantum Mind Power is for serious students of mental power, not for those who are looking for magical solutions to life's problems. Although the results from using brainwave entrainment may seem miraculous, the real benefit is unleashing your super mind. This can help you become more creative, focused, and driven to go after what you want to achieve.

With your mental powers on overdrive, you can solve problems easier, make important connections, and experience true happiness with what you already have. When you are ready to create the life you deserve, take control of your brain. Habits and Your Self Image And Your Mind Power

Author: Harold L Lowe

Your self image, you may recall, is the mental blueprint or mental picture you carry around. It is the self image that must be changed to gain or re-gain control of the power of your subconscious mind. The self image consists of all thoughts, fears, phobias, actions, feelings, and behavior that you have accumulated and have been securely stored in your subconscious mind during your lifetime. From these various elements, your beliefs about yourself have unconsciously been formed. Your past experiences, including your successes, failures, humiliations, so-called constructive criticisms, and the way people have responded to us have all made contributions. Much of what is stored in your subconscious mind was placed there in your early childhood, at a time when the frontal, reasoning part of your brain was not sufficiently developed to allow you to make decisions based on reason. By the time your brain was fully developed, you had formed many, many beliefs. It was from this sizable pool of beliefs that your self i mage (a picture or blueprint) was constructed. Over time belief after belief was added to this picture. Remember, any idea, thought or image that is passed on to the subconscious mind becomes a belief, and any belief so formed, becomes your truth and is no longer open to question. Whether the belief is true or not, you simply act or re-act to your beliefs as if they were true! Some of your beliefs grew out your personal experiences and include answers to questions like: Am I intelligent? Am I likable? Am I stupid? Am I a failure? Am I weak? Most beliefs, however, are internalizations of the judgments of other people, especially family, friends, and authority figures in institutions like schools and churches. When you reached adulthood, there were hundreds or even thousands of infantile beliefs (truths) that had been added to your self image. During those early years, you were not encouraged nor allowed, in some cases, to use conscious reasoning as you negotiated your way through life. As a result, the self ima ge took on more and more control of your thinking about and reactions to life. Your self image had a reservoir of subconscious beliefs (truths) to draw upon in response to your life situations without your conscious involvement. It could simply repeat past responses to similar situations. These infantile beliefs are the truths that the self image used to control nearly every aspect of your life in adulthood. Its repetitive control gradually became deeply ingrained habit. Is it any wonder that life is such a struggle for you and most people? As I have stated before, I believe the lack of a basic understanding of how the self image is formed and the control it exercises over our lives is the single greatest barrier to mastering your mind power and living more of the lives we desire. The self image, however, can be changed. New habits can be formed. You can change. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.

Mind Power And Belief

Whatever the mind can perceive, it can achieve, and to me that statement more or less sums it up. With your mind power your wildest dreams are within your grasp, you only have to believe that you can make it happen and you will.

Many people mistakenly dismiss this theory as a load of rubbish but that is their problem, not yours. They think of your mind power as some kind of magicians trick that is only there to fool people but if they only opened their minds to look at the wonderful possibilities that are there for them to take advantage of, they would find themselves in a completely different place to where they are now.

It is all very simple in that you first must decide what it is you would like to achieve. It could be anything, from making more money to meeting the partner of your dreams. You then have to decide what you are going to do in order to achieve your dreams. If you want to make more money you must first decide exactly how much money you want to make. Then work back from there, how much do you need to earn per month, per week and per day to reach that goal. Then work out what you are going to do to earn this money,

It is then a matter of focussing on your goal with your mind power and not giving up when you meet any obstacles, which you will. If you are focussed on your goals you will ride out any problems along the way.

When you have made your decision to go for your goal you must absolutely be 100% sure that you are going to achieve it. This is a big difference between successful and unsuccessful people. Many people have vague dreams about what they want to achieve but sadly for many people these dreams stay as dreams and they are not turned into reality. Successful people just know that when they make a goal they won't give up until that goal is achieved, your mind power is so very strong that literally nothing can get in its way.

As you can see, your mind power is not exactly rocket science but once it is mastered there is absolutely nothing that cannot be achieved. The world really is your oyster.

I would highly recommend that if your mind power is new to you, you should try and start off by setting yourself some small goals which are a little out of your comfort zone but achievable. If you stick to it and use your mind power to achieve these goals you will find that it will give you more confidence in order to go for the big stuff, so to speak.

When you are ready, use your mind power to go for something that really excites you, something that makes you shiver by just thinking about it. Believe me, when you go on to reach these types of goals you will truly believe that there is nothing that you can't achieve in your life.

Subconscious Mind Power Tips

Author: Steve Goldberg

For years, I have been absolutely fascinated with the power of the subconscious mind. It’s power have made the sick healthy, the poor wealthy, and the sad happy. Those who understand and apply the methods for using the subconscious mind find themselves bathed in more abundance and joy than they could have ever imagined. In this article, I will explain two of the most powerful tips for harnessing and applying your subconscious mind power, to help you achieve far greater success than you have ever dreamed.

As you might already be aware of, the subconscious mind is the seat of all memory, fears, phobias, behavioral patterns, habits, beliefs, and expectations. An astonishingly true fact is that only 2-4% of our day is controlled by our conscious mind, and the other 96-98% is all done by the subconscious. 96% of all your decisions, actions, thoughts, feelings are all done automatically, unconsciously by your subconscious mind.

It is amazing to think how much our subconscious mind does for us. It beats our heart, digests our food, and breathes for us all without any conscious effort. With all of the amazing things it does, our subconscious doesn’t always do everything we want it to. Many people have realized that they have several bad habits of doing and thinking, and understand that in order to grow and prosper, those habits must be changed. But herein lies the problem most people face. How do you change the subconscious to promote success in all areas of life?

The answer is simple. You must harness the power of your subconscious mind. The first technique in order to do that is called suggestion. A suggestion is a passive statement given to the subconscious to either accept or reject. Hypnotists use the power of suggestibility to promote changes in their subjects. When a person is in a deeply relaxed state, their conscious mind is out of the way, and the gateway to the powers of subconscious is open. This is where true changes happen. In order to suggest the subconscious to change, the body and mind must be completely relaxed. A person must first have a reason to change, and accept the new suggestion. Then the suggestion for change may be given with intense emotion and desire so that the suggestion is firmly accepted.

In quick summary: Enter a deeply relaxed state – Subconscious is open to suggestion – Give suggestion and firmly accept with intense emotion.

The next subconscious mind power tip is repetition. If you are suggesting your subconscious to accept the idea of wealth in your life, using repetition can help firmly implant that idea quicker and easier. Our reptilian brain is highly receptive to ritual and repetition. Repetition of an affirmation, or suggestion, such as “I am wealthy and successful” helps firmly implant the idea deeply into the subconscious mind. Over long periods of repetition, the suggestion will reshape thinking patterns, habits, and deeply held beliefs. The entire neuronal structure of your brain will begin change in order to promote the new idea of wealth and success. And once the idea is finally accepted without doubt or question, new worlds of possibilities begin to arise.

In summary: Repetition is the tool of suggestion – Repeat an affirmation for change in a deeply relaxed state – Repeat on regular intervals to help the reptilian brain accept the suggestion (repeat affirmation with intense emotion every morning, deeply relaxed, for 10 minutes for a period of one month or more).

These two subconscious mind power tips can help you clear mental and emotional blockages in your life that are withholding your from your full potential. The power of suggestion to the subconscious mind, combined with ritualistic repetition is the ultimate key to unlocking your mind, and achieving all that you desire.
